A weekend for all
Whether you're a beginner or veteran of the pilgrim trail there's something for you to discover over the two days of pilgrimage in Winchester.
Experience the Word of God in live readings of the Gospel of Matthew, music and drama performances by children from schools across Hampshire.
Celebrate our heritage with choral evensong together, see the specially commissioned art, or create your own in the Seeing the Word workshop.
The treasure of scripture
Find out who St Swithun was and follow the pilgrim trail to St Jerome and the beautiful 12th Century Winchester Bible.
The scallop shell is a symbol of pilgrimage as it shows many ways of getting to the same place. Look out for it as you share your stories with those of the saints on the trail.
As with all journeys, directions are needed to guide us on our way. You join others in living the Word by helping pilgrims find their way on the trail.
Experience the Gospel of Matthew live
On each day of the pilgrimage the Gospel of Matthew will be read aloud by teams of readers from across the Diocese.
This is an opportunity for as many people as possible to join in this special work of evangelisation.
You can join your voice to others to help people experience the power of God's Word.
Join us for this fun-filled weekend
